There are quite a few venues to meet TG’s and the majority of them are located on the Las Vegas Strip.
And while you’d generally encounter friendly people here, keep in mind that The Strip attracts tourists from all over the world.
At times you might come across people that have rather controversial political leanings or attitudes.
Another area that stands out for meeting the trans community is the Arts District.

The Phoenix – This bar offers a warm welcome to everyone regardless of their gender and sexual affiliation. That makes it a hotspot not only among TGs but also drag queens.
OddFellows – They host different events on certain nights including LGBT-friendly parties. You can learn more about their calendar through their Facebook page and plan your visit accordingly.
Double Down Saloon – If you’re looking for a full-blown punk-styled party atmosphere that attracts trans individuals then this is the place. But the majority of the people here just want something casual.
FreeZone – What makes this bar special is that it’s not only a great place to meet trans people but also it’s a safe space for non-binary and genderqueer folks.
Piranha Vegas – This place used to be called the “hottest gay club of Las Vegas”. But now, as you can see, it has a more mixed crowd and especially attracts transgender and crossdressers due to its drag shows.
2. LGBT Community Centres
If you want to connect with the local trans and queer community, we recommend checking out a place called The Center.
It’s a hub for various events that welcome everyone. You don’t have to be a local to attend; even people from out of state join in to network with trans folks.

To start with, you can always try more popular apps like Tinder. If you’re also transgender, we’d recommend explicitly mentioning that in your bio.

But if you’re cisgendered then tough luck because Tinder doesn’t have a feature that lets you exclusively filter out trans profiles.

Another option to consider is Madhouse Coffee, which provides a cozy and inviting environment. While we’re unsure if they regularly host events, it’s still quite popular among the LGBT community.
What It’s Like to Be Transgender in Las Vegas?
Nevada has laws across the state that protect against discrimination based on gender identity.
This makes Las Vegas one of the most trans-friendly cities in the world.
To give you some perspective, most clubs do not hesitate to hire trans women as dancers.
I have a friend who has worked in numerous Las Vegas clubs over the years. Not a single girl has discriminated against her.
But yeah, you might still encounter some greasy old men from time to time who’d pass some insensitive remarks and use offensive words like “tranny” or “shemale”.
