There is an area of reefs and rocky outcrops off the West coast of Pembrokeshire called `The Smalls, Hats, and Barrels` the depths vary from 50 metres to 2 metres and you will be fishing over some huge sub sea pinnacles. This area can only be fished on tides up to 6 metres in for This is a day mainly of drift fishing, but we can drop the anchor and fish the bottom for a short while at slack water.
This area is, as I often explain, TACKLEBOX UNFRIENDLY, TACKLE SHOP FRIENDLY, in other words it can eat your tackle if you are not careful and keep in touch with the gear as we drift.
Multihook rigs, jelly worm, chads and all the other artificial lures of all colours work well, best weight is 10oz.
You will need a cool box with some ice for your catch.
Species:- Pollack up to 10lb, Coalie, Codling, Ling, Wrasse and Mackerel.
