Approx 4 Hours – Depart Neyland Marina 09.00 and 14.00
Traveling down the Milford Haven Waterway passing the ocean-going ships berthed at the oil terminals.
Leaving the Port we voyage out to the Islands of Skomar and Skokholm to see the wildlife that makes the Pembrokeshire Islands their home.
Skomer is an island off the coast of Pembrokeshire, in the community of Marloes and St Brides.
It is host to sea birds including Puffins, Guillemots and Razorbills.
Around half the world’s population of Manx shearwaters nest on the island
These islands support a large proportion of the world population of black and white Manx Shearwater – birds that are very ungainly on land but highly adapted for life at sea.
Around the rocks at the base of the islands are seals – Atlantic Grey Seals over 5000 frequent Pembrokeshire waters.
